Howdy Friends,

For those of you who don’t know, I wake up at 5 a.m. every morning.  I spend the first half hour of my day listening to NPR and drinking coffee [yes, I work in a coffee shop and get free coffee (no, I can’t wait)].  Then I leave at ~5:45 a.m. to get to work by 6 a.m.  I’m typing “a.m.” a lot to emphasize the fact that I get up REALLY REALLY EARLY.

    This morning was different.

I stepped outside at exactly 5:43 a.m. in order to get my scooter warmed up in time to leave.  It turns out that it rained so hard my scooter fell over (I’m giving mankind the benefit of the doubt here).  This normally wouldn’t be a huge deal but I left the fuel line open for the first time ever.  Thus fuel and oil were everywhere.  It took about 20 minutes of kick starting the scooter to get it to actually turn on.

I was my own personal BP.  It was horrible.

    Love,
    Matt
